Best Oscar Host Moments

Here are all the best Oscar hosts of all the time in which they gave us the most beautiful oscar moments of all. Some of them hosted oscar most but some of them got the chance to host but they spoil all the fun, some of them tried to make it the best of all and there were times when Academy awards people thought that bringing the worst host that is of no use is not better than no host oscar, so there where no host in between for 4 years and last time there were no host was in 91st academy award function which was held in 2019.

Yes, so many deserve to get an oscar for hosting oscar night with their graceful and remarkable performance, and some were like not to give a penny for their hosting performance.

1. Whoopi Goldberg:- 1994, 1996, 1999, 2002

The Oscars were first held 92 years ago, and in 1994, Goldberg made double history as the first solo female and first black host. Did the job with such wit, memorably calling Oscar “the only 74-year-old man in Hollywood who doesn’t need Viagra to last three hours”, she was invited back three more times.

2. Bob Hope, 1940-1978

The veteran comic film star deserved an Oscar himself for his record 19 hosting stints. And he sort of got one when the Academy awarded him a medal for his service to the show.

3. Billy Crystal, 1990-2012

Sally’s Harry hosted nine times, second only to Bob Hope and rebooted the gig by introducing the now-familiar nominee songs, film parodies, and montage videos.

4. Steve Martin, 2001, 2003

It’s something I only get to do when Billy Crystal’s out of town.” Sharing the job with Alec Baldwin in 2010 was less successful but, in his two solo stints, Martin was hilariously irreverent. Even the crew adored him, calling him the “most low-maintenance host ever”.

5. Ellen DeGeneres, 2014

She not only had pizzas delivered to peckish audience members (collecting the money in Pharrell Williams’s hat) but staged an A-lister group selfie that went viral. Ellen DeGeneres is the best of all that I think.

6. Johnny Carson, 1979-1984

“Welcome to two hours of sparkling entertainment spread out over a four-hour show… I see lots of new faces, especially on the old faces.” TV’s talkshow king hosted five times and was hailed as “the gold standard” by the LA Times.

7. Hugh Jackman, 2009

The usual standups were replaced by a song-and-dance man – and Wolverine pulled it off with infectious enthusiasm. His big musical medley with BeyoncĂ© was a top-hatted highlight.

8. Chris Rock, 2016

Misfired in 2005, but his return in the year of #OscarsSoWhite was bracingly sharp, embracing the elephant in the room with lines such as: “This year’s In Memoriam section is just going to be black folks who were shot by the cops on the way to the movies.”

9. Anne Hathaway and James Franco, 2010

Remember Mick Fleetwood and Samantha Fox at the Brit awards? This decidedly non-dynamic duo was the Hollywood version. So bad they were almost good. Almost. For us, this was Anne Hathaway and James franco's performance.

So, here is the end to this but not to the Oscars and not to their host too. We have seen many actresses and actors hosting oscar in their way but these are some of those who have done their job marvelously and some of those have been just there trying to do their job but they also tried to do. So appreciating them also for their work they have done and will be doing as in any role. No one is an expert but what they do is to learn how to do the job.
