6. Leonardo DiCaprio wins the best actor (2016)

At last, the wait was over for both Leonardo DiCaprio and his fan because in 2016 he won the oscar. As we all know he is a big environmentalist and in his acceptance speech his just once talk about his award will and other than that he talked about and said "Climate change is real, it is happening right now, it is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world ... who speak for all of humanity."

5. Ellen's Superstar Selfie (2014)

How a blurry group self-portrait was taken on a mobile phone became the sensation of the Oscars – with disappointment for one superstar. How someone can bring twitter down? answer for all the questions is this is a group selfie which includes some of the biggest stars in the world tightly packed. That’s what happened at the Oscars ceremony when Ellen DeGeneres encouraged about ten movie stars to pose for a big group selfie.

4. Late Heath Ledger Wins The Oscar (2009)

Heath Ledger, the late Australian actor, has won the Oscar for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the Joker in Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight. He is till now the only actor who has won oscar after his death and on this occasion, his father and sister were on stage and his father thanks all of the film fraternity and said "allowing Heath the creative license to develop and explore this crazy Joker character".

3. Roberto Benigni Goes Wild (1999)

When Roberto Benigni won the Oscar for Foreign Language Film in 1999, ("Life Is Beautiful"), he went wild and climbed on chairs, jumped around and hopped onto the stage.
This was that moment that defines how big is Oscars.

2. Jack Palance Does Push-Ups on Stage (1992)

Longtime character actor Jack Palance was 73-years-old in 1992 when he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in City Slickers. A nice story, but it was his acceptance that cemented his place as the early '90s pop culture legend: After taking the stage, Palance dropped and pounded out a series of one-armed push-ups. Telecast host Billy Crystal turned the stunt into a series of running jokes.

1. Charlie Chaplin Receives 12-Minute Standing Ovation (1972)

There was a long rousing standing ovation for him at the 44th Academy Awards in 1972, lasting about a minute and a half, when he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Originally his name was Charles Spencer Chaplin. After his acceptance speech, he dons his signature bowler hat and the applause begins again.
